At the RPII safety is our utmost priority. We are committed to ensuring that play spaces are secure and enjoyable for everyone. Accidents can happen, and learning from them is essential to continuously improve play environments.
To date there isn’t a national accident portal so in order that we can understand what accidents happen on play equipment, we have an accident reporting form below. This is completely anonymous but it is for us to understand how often play equipment accidents are happening, where they are happening and how they happen.
To facilitate this, we encourage Local Councils, Parish Councils, community organisations, and relevant authorities to share details of accidents that occur in their play areas.
Why Report Accidents?
Accident reporting is a crucial step in maintaining safe play spaces. By sharing information about accidents, we can:
Identify Trends
Gathering data allows us to identify recurring issues and patterns, enabling us to implement preventive measures effectively.
Understand hazards
Accurate accident reports help us understand the most common accidents and hazards that cause these.
Promote Awareness
Sharing accident data fosters awareness among our members and stakeholders to help them understand the issue in more depth.
Your Contribution Matters
Your contribution to our anonymous accident reporting form is invaluable. By providing accurate and detailed information about accidents, you play a vital role in improving play safety. Rest assured, all information shared is treated with the utmost confidentiality and used solely for the purpose of safety analysis.
