The Register of Play Inspectors International (RPII) collaborates with the Pertexa Inflatable Play Accreditation (PIPA) scheme to ensure the adherence of inflatable play equipment to rigorous safety standards. Inflatable Equipment Operator/Attendant Qualification

Our qualification program encompasses various roles related to the operation and management of inflatable equipment. These roles include Controllers, Operators, and Attendants, each with specific responsibilities and requirements.

For Controllers, who hold overall control of the equipment and are accountable for its inspection and maintenance, we provide comprehensive training and examination. This qualification ensures that Controllers possess the necessary knowledge and skills to oversee the safe operation of inflatable equipment.

Operators, who are individuals appointed by Controllers to manage the day-to-day operation of the equipment, are also eligible for our qualification program. The training and examination cover important aspects such as safe handling, setting up outdoors on grass or earth, positioning of perimeter fences, correct construction of the inflatable, setting up indoors, routine inspections, and duties as an Operator.

Attendants, who work under the direction of Operators to assist in the operation of the equipment, can also benefit from our qualification program. Attendants, typically over 16 years of age, receive training and examination on their specific duties, including routine inspections, emergency procedures, accident protocols, and proper equipment storage.

Our courses and exams emphasise conformity with industry standards and best practices. Topics covered include safe handling, equipment setup, routine inspections, attendant and operator responsibilities, emergency and accident procedures, and equipment storage.
